Home Reading is a program that is funded through School Council. Students in Kdgn to Grade 3 have a chance to take out a book daily. This book is to be taken home to promote daily reading at home with a parent. Daily reading has the most impact in overall student achievement.
We are seeking parent volunteers to help support this program. Volunteers would help students return their books, and pick a new book. This would occur in the mornings each day for about 1 hour.
Parents will need a police check in order to volunteer in this capacity.
