Today, nder sunny skies with a little breeze, we held our annual Terry Fox Run. We had full participation by all students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Prior to the run, each person dipped their foot in the ocean to symbolize leaving the east coast. Our run ended up in the downfield playground with more opportunities to do laps and run. Thank you to our community for supporting the fight to beat cancer. We will be making a donation to the cancer foundation with the toonies that were collected. Thank you to staff and parents who assisted with preparing the route, the field and providing supervision during the run. We had a great day!
