Please be advised that construction activity will intensify here on the King Street corridor from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3.

Concrete curbs will be poured along the school side of King Street during this time frame. Another curb will be poured in the middle of the road which will be the first part of the barrier for the track line of the train.

Surface paving of the lane beside the school will also begin. This paving will go from Wellington Street through to the KCI area.

If good conditions occur, these components of the project will be finished in front of King Edward P.S. by Nov. 3.

We have been advised that the Crossing Guard will remain in the same current position on King Street close to Tim Horton’s.

All parents and students should use caution and obey instructions from the crossing guard and construction crews while crossing King Street.
