Look at what are Kindergartens are doing!  A big part of the Kindie curriculum involves inquiry and provocations involving nature and our outdoors.  Teachers and DECEs are able to make wonderful links to literacy, numeracy, art and drama. Students are able to count, build, create, discuss and learn about everything outdoor play has to offer – they are totally engaged!  King Edward is committed to creating an outdoor play space that encourages more outdoor learning and parents are encouraged to build on this outdoor learning at home.  The photo below demonstrates what wonderful Kindie minds can create when they are challenged to explore outside:
