On Monday June 2 King Edward hosted almost 30 Japanese exchange students at our school.  The grade 4’s from Mrs. Ferguson’s class and Mrs. Shortt’s class did a wonderful job ensuring that the Japanese students felt welcomed.  We had a great time sharing our National “pastime” with them and they shared many Japanese cultural activities with all of our students.  Both cultures learned so much about each other.  It was awesome and they were totally engaged.  Special thanks to all our staff who helped make this possible!
