10 am to 3 pm Zehrs parking lot, Laurentian Centre Ottawa Street Kitchener.  Please use Strasburg Rd

entrance.  Take a 10 minute Test Drive a New Ford and Ford Canada will donate $20 to Kitchener

West Optimist and all funds will be presented to Nutrition For Learning.

 

Poverty Symposium

This Social Planning Council of Cambridge and North Dumfries event “Ending Child and Family Poverty NEVER THE RIGHT TIME?’ is an event for local community agencies, regional and city governments, local councilors and political representatives and interested community members in attendance. Nutrition for Learning is conducting a Workshop called The Good Nutrition Challenge.

Food Revolution Day at the Kitchener Market

10 am to 3 pm

Helping citizens to make healthy food choices

The week of  May 6 – 10 is Hunger Awareness week and we are sure you are aware of

HUNGER in our community however we would like to share you this link to the Hunger

Awareness Website.  http://hungerawarenessweek.ca/home This May we have a  3rd Party

Fundraiser by our friends at Optimist Club of Kitchener West as well as two events we will be

involved with in regards to education on nutrition in our community and awareness of our

programs.  We hope you can join us at the FREE Food Revolution event or perhaps take a

FREE test drive of a NEW FORD and help us raise funds for our programs.  Once again
