At our KEPS assembly, Nick Leighton, played his violin and piano to support our community. This took a lot of initiative and courage to play in front of 250 students!! Way to go Nick!

Just a reminder that there will be no school for students on Friday, Oct. 11. There will be extended day care for children who are already enrolled in this program. King Edward Public School Staff will be engaging in school improvement planning and safety training on this P.A. Day.

Supporting Student Reading

Parents of primary students are invited to come out and learn how to support your child with reading. Learn about reading strategies, the home reading program and much more! Come out today at 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Babysitting is provided and there will be door prizes.

This spring, grade 3 and grade 6 students completed testing for EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office). These results are now available on our EQAO page. We will be sending home individual reports from EQAO to students in Grade 4 and Grade 7. These reports will be coming home this week.

Today, nder sunny skies with a little breeze, we held our annual Terry Fox Run. We had full participation by all students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
